FAQ

When is Stocky shutting down? August 31, 2026. The app was already removed from the Shopify App Store in February 2026. Key features were removed in July 2025.

Can I export my data from Stocky? Partly. Purchase order history and stocktake records can be exported. But supplier details are stuck inside Stocky — there’s no way to export them. You’ll need to re-enter supplier info manually in your new app, so start that process sooner rather than later.

Does Shopify Admin replace Stocky? It covers the basics — tracking stock levels, moving inventory between locations, and creating simple purchase orders. What it doesn’t do is the planning part: forecasting demand, calculating when to reorder, suggesting how much to buy, or alerting you before you run out. That’s where a third-party app comes in.
